Together we can provide more free self-led visits
A donation of £35 could support children’s learning with free resources and self-led visits at sites like Hadrian’s Wall.
Thanks to our supporters and Members, we’re able to provide many of our learning resources and inspiring visits free of charge. As the cost of living crisis continues, providing these free, out-of-classroom experiences has never mattered more. With our current schools programme already oversubscribed, we need your help to make hands-on learning accessible to more children from all communities.

A gift of £50 could mean more children can experience Medieval life at Dover Castle.
You could help more children experience what life was like in Medieval times by exploring the great tower and taking on the roles of Medieval servants, lords and ladies.

Our award-winning national Youth Engagement programme, Shout Out Loud, aims to put young people’s ideas and voices at the heart of English Heritage. With your support, more young people could have the chance to dig deeper into their heritage through the arts, explore careers in history and uncover untold stories from our past.
