You are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the grounds. There is a picnic bench on the site and also large grassed areas on which to lay out your picnic blanket.
Dogs on leads are very welcome.
Chysauster Ancient Village consists of large grounds, including a wild meadow, identified paths, and seating and rest areas with beautiful views. Varied flora and fauna throughout the season. There are some slopes across the site.
There are a number of rabbit holes so please take care. There may also be some snakes on the site.
