Framlingham Castle

Food and Drink

From royalty to workhouse families, both the prosperous and the poor have dined at Framlingham Castle.

Visit our castle café and taste a little piece of history with our simple everyday Tudor dishes such as Tudor staple vegetable pottage or the savoury Tarte Owte of Lent.  Or if you're feeling a little more royal, indulge in our selection of hot and cold mains, cakes, bakes and sweet treats.

Castle Café

The new castle café is now open in the workhouse. Located within the historic castle walls it's the perfect spot to rest your legs and refuel.

Special diets including vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy free options can be accommodated for. Please ask the Café staff for advice.
