Food and Drink

After you've explored the castle and its wonderful gardens, take a load off in the castle’s tearoom, which you’ll find inside the grand Tudor stables. There’s plenty of seating inside and out.

What We Offer

Soup, cakes and light lunches are always available, along with a selection of hot and cold drinks, including Fair Trade teas and coffee. Cream teas are a firm favourite, and we also have an array of delicious cakes and tray bakes.

All our soups are freshly made, and always vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free. Gluten-free rolls are available too.

You can find allergen and nutritional information here.

Just for Children

During the summer kids can have their own lunch bags with a small sandwich, biscuit, carton of juice and a piece of fruit. Winter or summer, soup can be served in child-sized meals.

Highchairs are available and there’s room for pushchairs in the tearoom and outside.

Opening Times

The tearoom opens when the castle opens, and stops serving 30 minutes before it closes.

You can check the castle opening times here.

Groups

Groups can book tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Set lunches are available for groups too – these must be booked at least a week in advance.
