Weddings at Old Wardour
For the ultimate in romance, couples can marry inside the ruined medieval castle or in an 18th-century pavilion beside a lake in the wooded grounds. The magnificent rolling landscape and evocative architecture offer an exquisite and picturesque backdrop for wedding photography.
The central exterior courtyard makes a wonderful space for drinks receptions or a relaxed post ceremony picnic. The green open grounds surrounding the castle offer a stunning backdrop for any special occasion photo shoot.
Old Wardour can be made available for exclusive hire so you can celebrate your special occasion at your own leisure and privacy.
Castle Room
At the heart of the medieval castle and with simple stone walls, this room is a truly romantic location, which may be dressed with flowers if you wish. Just outside is a charming courtyard where you and your guests can toast your future with something sparkling or strike a pose on the ancient stairways or beneath arches.
The Pavilion
Built in 1773 for summer entertaining in the fashionable mock-gothic style of the time, the Pavilion features large airy windows with stunning views across the lake
