In October we celebrate Black African and Caribbean heritage. Integral to the formation of the England’s rich history, this often under-represented section of society can be traced back a lot further than one may think. This walk with Nick Collinson, in the oldest part of London, will explore long-hidden narratives in the City, including the heart-warming story of a freed black slave, a day that went down in history, and some stories from throughout the ages that are guaranteed to shock and surprise.

This event has been graded as moderate access as it will take place in busy areas of London, with limited resting places. Please dress for the weather with comfortable footwear as there is no shelter on the walk. Refreshments are not provided however you are welcome to bring along your own.

This event is sold out.
