There is free parking. Limited additional parking is available for large vehicles but this must be booked in advance with the Farmland Museum.
The Docky Box Café, run by the Farmland Museum, is open at all times when the museum and abbey are open, with seating inside and out. The menu includes jacket potatoes, paninis, sausage rolls, cream teas, and a selection of delicious cakes and traybakes, and drinks.

There is a unisex toilet. Additional toilets, including baby changing facilities, are available at the Farmland Museum.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead at all times and cannot enter the display rooms and buildings.
The abbey ruins sit alongside the Farmland Museum and are run as a joint site for visitors by the museum team. The museum tells the story of Cambridgeshire's rural past, and has an extensive outdoor collection of farming machinery from the Fens, a fenman’s hut, blacksmith’s and wheelwright’s workshops, and village shop display. At the abbey there are exhibits featuring information and objects from its past, including a 1940s-furnished farmworker's cottage and its garden (the cottage itself dates ftom the 1860s). Please be aware that the cottage will be closed during the 2024 season as it is undergoing an essential renovation project but the garden can still be visited.
At the neighbouring Farmland Museum there is an extensive collection relating to the agriculture of Cambridgeshire.
There are large open spaces surrounding the historic buildings giving you a tranquil and relaxing experience in a lovely countryside setting.

There is a children’s play area at the Farmland Museum that is very popular with younger visitors, featuring a full-scale sit-on tractor, sandpit and climbing frame and slide.
