The ruins of a church built within the earthworks of a Norman motte and bailey castle. This church remained in use until the 1860s, when it was replaced by the adjacent new church.

Before You Go

Access: Edvin Loach Old Church is via narrow country lanes. The ground surrounding the ruins may be uneven.

Parking: Parking is available in the small area used by the parish church.

Groups and Schools: The site is approached via a narrow lane which is unsuitable for coaches.

Facilities: The market town of Bromyard is 4 miles away, where you will find cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome

Plan a Great Day Out

Just over 10 miles to the north east you'll find the dramatic ruins of Witley Court with its beautiful gardens and woodland. The independent tearoom next door serves delicious light lunches and cakes.
