Educational Visits

Hurst Castle is used by a great number of school groups as a base for a range of studies, including geography, geology, history and wildlife studies. Under the arrangement with English Heritage admission is free to school groups when booking in advance. Discounts on the ferry are offered to schools who pre-book the crossing. Some groups prefer to catch the ferry one way and walk the shingle bank to or from the Castle.
