Top tips for castle adventurers

  • Set sail for Dartmouth Castle and look out for seals

    Take the passenger ferry from Dartmouth harbour and enjoy a spot of wildlife spotting as you sail along the coast - the best views of the castle are from the water!

  • Not your average picnic spot

    Bring a picnic and bask in the beautiful surroundings of Okehampton Castle. Dogs are welcome and there’s lots of space to roam.

  • Spot the arrow slits at Totnes Castle

    Travel back in time and keep watch over the medieval town. All around the wall are arrow loops (slits) – perfect for young adventurers and their imaginary arrows.
