To commemorate the massacre of the Jewish community of York at Clifford's Tower on 16 March 1190, join Dr Jeremy Ashbee for a tour of the site, focusing on the tragic events of the night and their context.

Please note that this tour and discussion will necessarily include descriptions of topics and historical events that may be upsetting. The price of this event has been limited to just cover the cost of refreshments.

This event is graded as moderate access, as site access is up 55 steps and then there are internal spiral stairs up to the roof deck.
