Join one of our volunteer guides and Sophie Stewart, Collections Conservator, to learn about the high-quality wall paintings that survive in the chapel of St Mary de Castro on the first floor of the castle, dating back to the 13th century. Then climb higher and explore the Agricola Tower to see the wonderful views of Chester.
This event has been graded as challenging access. There will be limited rest points on the tour and it will include steep steps and some uneven terrain.
