Dog Bowl and Toileting
A dog bowl is available outside the shop entrance. A dog waste bin is located 30 metres along Lullingstone Lane.
Wheelchair Access
The whole of the visitor centre and shop is step free. Access is from either the car park or drop off area into the visitor entrance, toilets and shop. The circular Shrine and picnic tables can only be accessed via steps.
Entrance / Set Down
A drop off area is available on the road, 10 metres from the visitor entrance. There is no need to arrange this in advance.
Disabled Parking
There are no allocated accessible parking bays. Disabled visitors can be set down at the drop off area located 10 metres from the visitor entrance.

Stairs
There is a flight of 17 steps at either end of the visitor centre which lead to the upper gallery. A further flight of 5 steps leads you back to the shop and exit. There are two lifts available to access both these areas. In the grounds a flight of 17 steps leads to the picnic bench and Shrine area.
Lift Access
There are two lifts: one on the ground floor opposite the mosaic and one at the exit of the exhibition. Both lifts will accommodate a wheelchair user up to a maximum weight of 400kg. Due to the layout of the lift doors, mobility scooters cannot be used in the main lift which accesses the upper gallery.
Seating And Restpoints
Benches are located throughout the ground floor of the exhibition. Unfortunately there are no benches along the upper gallery. In the grounds outside of the visitor centre there is a picnic bench and four benches with backrests and arms.
Pathways Surface And Gradients
All of the walkways in the visitor centre are flat and are made up of concrete, slate tile and carpeted areas. A loose gravel path leads you from the car park to the visitor entrance. The car park is also made up of loose bound gravel. The path in the grounds outside of the visitor centre is made of resin bound gravel which leads onto concrete paving.
