Dogs on lead allowed, although there are restricted areas. Assistance dogs welcome. There is a bowl of water for dogs to drink from.
The museum is at the front of the site and houses a large collection of objects found in the town. Mainly metal finds.
The grounds make up a beautiful Victorian arboretum containing a collection of North American pine trees which are landscaped around the ruins. The site is in a relaxing environment and there is plenty of room for children to play.
There are some Roman packs available in the museum that look at the site and Roman life in a town.
