Wheelchair Access
Wheelchair access is possible throughout most of the museum, but visitors should be aware that the main access routes around the museum and abbey grounds are on gravel paths and across closely-mown grass.
The first floor of the abbey is inaccessible to wheelchair users but all interpretation is available from the kiosk for those who cannot access the stairs. The first floor of Walnut Tree Cottage, containing two 1940s-furnished bedrooms, is also inaccessible to wheelchair users.
