Hot and cold drinks, and range of snacks and confectionery are available from the castle shop.

Extensive picnicking opportunities both within site (benches and tables) and seashore immediately adjacent to site.

Shop is located in the Site Administration Building near the entrance. It has ramped access. The shop sells a wide range refreshments and confectionery, together with medieval toys and gifts. There are a variety of historical and natural history books.

There are two unisex toilets at the castle.

Play Areas / Adventure Playground

Extensive areas of short grass for all sorts of games, and re-enactment of famous battles within a historic setting.

Yes, but there are some steps and paths that are uneven.
