Gainsborough Old Hall

Old Hall, New Beginnings

In 2021 Gainsborough Old Hall underwent significant conservation and reinterpretation work. Our revival of this impressive hall will be enhanced by a £222k grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Project Overview

The project, which began in January, will take place in phases and will be complete next year. The Old Hall will remain open throughout.

More fun, family events and fresh information about the hall is planned. Support for a research project as well as the school’s bursary programme (which has been created by the Friends of Gainsborough Old Hall) is in motion too.

Read on to keep up to date with the project.
