  Free parking for about 30 vehicles, 100 metres from entrance. Car park contains some difficult surfaces for wheelchair users. Disabled visitors can be set down just outside the entrance.

  Take time to wander around the recently restored great gardens. Sir Christopher Hatton the Fourth added the great gardens (described as ‘the finest garden in England’) in the late 17th century. They have been recreated as they may have appeared at that time, with elaborate period style ‘cutwork’, statues, urns, seating, topiary and other features.

  The Parterre Garden is a recreation of the type of garden that would have been here in 1690. There are a number of benches around the site. Most of the paths are of compacted gravel. In the parterre they are loose gravel.

  Kirby Hall is known for its friendly peacocks that roam freely. Please do not feed them.
