Visitors are welcome to join us this weekend between 10am and 4pm at Lullingstone Roman Villa for a chance to meet our expert volunteers and view the villa from our upstairs vantage point. Admission is free. The usual visitor experience remains temporarily closed. Moisture levels in the ground have been impacting on the villa, causing mould growth in the surrounding building. Our planned works to improve the environment are ongoing and the site is being regularly cleaned to minimise the presence of mould in the environment but if you have mould-related allergies, respiratory illness, a weakened immune system or have other health concerns which can be exacerbated by the presence of mould, we recommend waiting for our works to be completed before visiting.
