The house itself benefits from a newly installed lift which allows access to the first floor. There is one step at the main entrance with a portable ramp available on pressing the assistance button.
The grass parklands are crossed by smooth, tarmacked pathways.
The café and toilets are step-free.

There are a large number of memorial benches are located around the park for people to rest. Several chairs provided inside the house itself.
Pathways Surface And Gradients
Main driveway is concrete and flat. Slight gradient on lawn to the rear of the house. The upper floors are highly polished – assistance dogs may find them slippery. 66 acres of level ground, nearly all accessible on tarmac path or fairly smooth grass.
