Before You Go
Parking: There is no dedicated car park, but parking is possible on the verge. Please have consideration for residents and other road users.
How to Find it: The gatehouse is on a small road off Whitecote Lane, just outside South Milford.
Facilities: There are no public toilets nearby. South Milford has a shop and a choice of places to eat and drink.
Plan a Great Day Out
York is a 20 mile drive away from Steeton Hall, and is home to two fascinating English Heritage sites. Climb to the top of the ramparts of Clifford's Tower for fantastic views over the city, and descend into York Cold War Bunker for an insight into how Britain would have coped with the fallout from a nuclear war.
