Volunteer at Stonehenge!
Becoming a volunteer at Stonehenge offers you the unique opportunity to join a group of like-minded people and become an expert on this World Heritage Site.
Volunteer with us
English Heritage are always looking for volunteers to take on a variety of exciting volunteering roles at Stonehenge. At the moment, we're actively seeking people to become:
- Stonehenge Neolithic Houses Interpretation Volunteer
- Stonehenge Education Volunteer
- Stonehenge Exhibition Volunteer
- Stonehenge Gardening Volunteer
Volunteers play such an important part in how our visitors experience Stonehenge - we're always hearing how they've changed someone's visit: from the knowledge they've shared to the attention they've given.
In return for your time, you'll have access to a schedule of workshops, from bronze axe carving to house daubing, led by experts from across the ancient technologies field, as well as the opportunity to gain a real understanding of Stonehenge from English Heritage's historians and staff through special talks and day-to-day interactions.
If you enjoy meeting people, are passionate about heritage and love to learn we would love to hear from you!
