There is a car park which is located within the Waltham Abbey Gardens site accessible from the roundabout on the B194 at the junction of Abbey View and Crooked Mile. It is not managed by English Heritage and there is a charge for it depending on the length of your visit - the first hour is free and then there is a £2.50 charge for the rest of the day. It has 100 spaces, including 5 disabled spaces. The gatehouse and bridge are approximately 250 metres from the car park, whilst 'Harold's Bridge' is approximately 50 metres away. There is space for 3-4 coaches. Off-Site: There is a small, free car park on Highbridge Street, immediately outside the Abbey Church, with 21 spaces, located approximately 20 metres from the Gatehouse. There is a pay and display car park on Darby Drive (approximately 250 metres from the gatehouse and approximately 100 metres from 'Harold's Bridge' and two pay and display car parks approximately 200m south of the site.
