Join us for free children’s story sessions at St Augustine’s Abbey on Saturday 18 October and Thursday 23 October. Snuggle in, listen to a magical tale and let your child’s imagination soar.

Upcoming Stories:

  • Saturday 18 October at 11am - 'Robbers at the Abbey: A Cuthbert Bear Story' by Nicky and Humphrey Welfare, illustrated by Susan Shields
  • Thursday 23 October at 11am - 'The Little Church Bat' by Rose Riddell and Diana Spencer, illustrated by Chris Shields

Adults must stay with their children throughout the sessions.

Tickets to the storytime sessions are free for adults and children, however spaces are limited so booking is required.

After the story, explore the museum and ruins (normal admission charges apply). You can book this via the button below as an add-on.

How to book

Click the ‘Book Tickets’ button above, please select the number of tickets you need and select the date you'd like to attend. You can add on site admission to your visit too. Please bring your booking confirmation with you on the day. If you’re a member, you’ll also need to bring your membership card if you are visiting the site museum and ruins afterwards. You can only use the member rate for people included in your membership.
