Loyalty discount

If you've been an English Heritage member beyond your first renewal, you can now get 10% off in our shops and cafes, as well as our online shop. The discount applies to Members who have renewed their Membership after their first term.

Your support as members is invaluable to English Heritage. It allows us to maintain our historic sites and collections, and conduct essential conservation work to ensure the stories of these national treasures are safeguarded to be passed on to the next generation.

Due to the current cost of living crisis, your support is more critical than ever. So, to thank those of you who choose to renew your membership, we’ve created an exclusive loyalty scheme.

If you've renewed your English Heritage membership past its first term or beyond, you can now get 10% off in our shops and cafés, as well as our online shop.

How does it work?

Anyone who has renewed and received this year’s arch illustration membership card or last year’s column illustration membership card will automatically qualify. To get the discount in our shops or cafés you just need to show your valid membership card at the till to be scanned. If you’re shopping online you can enter your membership number when you check out – you’ll find this on the back of your card.

What’s more, whether you’re buying a cup of tea, a jar of our award-winning raspberry curd or a life-sized replica sword, you’ll be making a vital contribution to our work. We hope that this additional benefit helps you to get the most out of your membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does the loyalty discount work?

    If you are a member in your second term of membership or older, you can now get a 10% discount in our shops, cafes and online shop. 

    If you are soon due to renew past your first term, the discount will be valid once you have renewed and paid for your membership.

  • What if I forget my membership card?

    You will need your membership card present to be swiped at our tills for the discount. If you are waiting for a reprint of your card to be delivered, simply show your temporary membership card email (which will have your membership number) on to staff. If you do not have this you’ll need to know your membership number for staff at sites to apply the discount.

  • How do I redeem it online?

    To claim the discount in our online shop, simply enter your membership number when you are ready to make your purchases at the checkout.

  • Are there any exclusions?

    The discount excludes membership products, event tickets and guidebooks when purchased through See Tickets. It can only be used at catering directly managed by English Heritage and not across locally managed properties, café concessions and other third party run pop ups.
