The top car park has parking for 15 cars and up to three coaches and is 200 metres from the mill reception.
For accessible parking: the lower mill car park has seven spaces and three designated disabled spaces. This car park is 50 metres from the reception and mill entrance.
Parking charges apply to non-members. Parking free for members.
During our Guided Tours, you are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the grounds. There are picnic tables and benches available.

Dogs are not permitted on the guided tour inside the mill. Dogs on short leads are welcome in the grounds.
The Drying Barn has a permanent exhibition tracing the history of bobbin making. During Guided Tours, visitors can watch demonstrations of the working machinery which still produces bobbins for sale today, and experience the traditional skills involved in this authentic Lakeland craft.
Stott Park Bobbin Mill is situated within four acres of woodland close to Lake Windermere. It is convenient for local walks in the area. During Guided Tours there is plenty of space for children to explore the grounds with a small play area by the picnic tables.
