Dog Bowl and Toileting
Water is available at the shop entrance upon request. Visitors are required to 'clean up' after their dogs. Many visitors with dogs come prepared but plastic bags are available from the reception area if needed.
Wheelchair Access
The whole of the ground floor and the grounds are accessible to wheelchair users. Where possible, the differing floor levels have been ramped, and the grounds have been sympathetically landscaped to allow wheelchair access. There are some uneven stone steps leading to the first floor of the house, however a virtual touch screen tour is available to visitors unable to access that level.
Entrance / Set Down
Disabled visitors can be set down nearer to the site via the rear entrance. Please ring the site with advanced notice so that a staff member can be available to offer assistance.
Disabled Parking
There are two designated disabled parking spaces with hard standing available and normal grass parking close to the reception (25-30 meters).

Stairs
There are two flights of stairs in the house, one wooden with a sturdy handrail. The stone stairs have uneven steps but good handrails. All visitors are advised about the stone stairs and signage is also present at the base and the top of the stairs.

Seating and rest points are located in the designated picnic area adjacent to the shop entrance. Seating is also available in the house.

The main pathways are surfaces are grass, flagstone and bonded gravel.
