Our spacious cafe serves a grab-and-go hot and cold food offer, including drinks, soup, pasties, sandwiches, salads and other sweet and savoury items. We cater for most dietary requirements including gluten-free and vegan.
You can picnic in the monument field with the view of the Stone Circle, or at other designated points around the Visitor Centre and landscape.
The Stonehenge gift shop offers an extensive range of books, gifts and souvenirs, including jewellery and an exclusive range of Barbour clothing and accessories.
Male, female toilets, including accessible, baby and adult change facilities, are available at the visitor centre.
No disposal facilities for toilet cassette waste. Please do not empty motorhome waste in our toilets as the chemicals poison the bacteria we use to breakdown the waste.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome throughout, including the Stone Circle.
Dogs on leads are allowed around the visitor centre. Animals are not permitted at the Stone Circle, exhibition, or visitor bus. Find out more.
Discover the story of Stonehenge: the stones, the landscape, the people and its meaning, through a powerful combination of cutting-edge audio-visual experiences and incredible ancient objects. The exhibition contains nearly 300 archaeological objects, finds from Stonehenge and other nearby monuments, now displayed on site for the first time.
All the objects are on loan from Salisbury Museum and Wiltshire Museum, Devizes. We recommend a visit to these two museums to find out more about the prehistory of the Stonehenge area.
No formal gardens, but there is a choice of walking routes available within the World Heritage Site, which are suitable for a range of ages and abilities. If choosing to walk along the road, please stay within the designated walking path at all times.
You can download a free audio tour in advance from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or via the free WiFi available at the visitor centre.
