Wheelchair Access
There is a wheelchair lift to the house to enable access to the mansion and exhibition space on the ground floor, as well as a ramp to access the terrace. The lift is not suitable for mobility scooters or electric wheelchairs, but we do have wheelchairs in the mansion that can be borrowed.
Fully accessible walled garden and visitor centre. The grounds have footpaths to most areas.
Two wheelchairs for indoor use, and two wheelchairs for outdoor use, are available to visitors on request at the admissions tills on a first come, first served basis.
Mobility scooters are available for hire, free of charge. Bookings should be made in advance by emailing scooter.wrestpark@english-heritage.org.uk or calling 01525 860000, option 5
Entrance / Set Down
Set down for disabled visitors permitted directly outside the entrance.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking for 14 cars available. Exception is on event days when there is a separate disabled parking area.
OnSite Transport
A free, regular golf cart shuttle service is available to help visitors explore the whole landscape.
Stairs
Stairs to first floor of house (open on guided tours only). Steps or steep slope to the Orangery and steep steps to the Pavilion. Ramp to access Bowling Green House.
Lift Access
There is a small lift to the house, located next to the Conservatory and Countess’s Sitting Room, unsuitable for electric wheelchairs but manual wheelchairs are available to borrow for use in the mansion. The lift enables access to the ground floor of the mansion where the exhibition and state rooms are located. The main visitor routes are all accessible by the lift. Please ask staff on arrival to arrange use of the lift.

Limited seating and rest points located around the grounds.

Gravel, concrete and tarmac pathways link areas of the grounds with some undulation.
