Peverell’s Tower at Dover Castle

Peverell’s Tower is a one-bedroom holiday cottage that comfortably sleeps two people. High within the walls of Dover Castle, this 13th century one-bedroomed tower, originally built by Henry III as an extra buttress, is a completely unique location for a romantic staycation. Peverell’s Tower offers comfortable and contemporary accommodation, accessed via a winding stone staircase, and a private rooftop terrace from which couples can cosy up and enjoy views across to the Channel. Once the castle has closed to the public each day, couples can explore the castle grounds alone. Included in your booking is a luxury hamper, as well as entry to all English Heritage sites and most events, 10% off in our shops and cafés during your stay. To view the floorplan of this holiday cottage and to discover the full list of available facilities, view the layout and facilities.

Due to the cottage's winding stone staircase and rooftop terrace, Peverell's Tower is only suitable for adults and cannot accommodate for children under the age of 16.

We had a lovely time. The accommodation was lovely and we really appreciated the information beforehand and the welcome basket that Sue had prepared. We would definitely stay again!

Without exception all the staff at Dover Castle were genuinely friendly and helpful. Peverell's Tower is totally unique with the most amazing views. We felt so privileged to stay there.

Our stay was fantastic. Couldn't fault it in any way. Sue Cock was very helpful before our stay. The tower was spotless and the welcome hamper was thoughtful. We met her as we were leaving so it was nice to say hello.. What a lovely lady, a credit to English Heritage.
