    Limited parking. Free for English Heritage members displaying a valid car sticker. Non-members must pay. Use SE9 5NP for sat nav directions to the car park. There are spaces available for Blue Badge holders. The car park gets very busy at weekends and in the school holidays; travel by public transport where possible.

    We warmly welcome children and families at Eltham Palace. Pushchairs and prams are not allowed inside the mansion house, but we provide an area for you to leave them.

    Toy / Dressing Up Box

    There are three eras of dressing up at Eltham Palace - Medieval, World War Two and 1930s. Kids and adults sizes are available.

    Interpretation for Children

    Under 7's can pick up a free stamping activity to take around with them at Eltham Palace, finding out all about the Courtauld's pets and travel. There is also a range of fun quizzes and games on the free multi media guide when you pick the Family Tour.

    If you are looking to use one of our sites for commercial, corporate or professional photography or as a filming location, please contact our filming team as soon as possible to check availability and acquire the relevant permissions and paperwork.

    Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
