• 20% discount is applied to participating site walk up tickets only when travelling to site by bicycle, train or bus.
• Discount is valid until 3 November 2024.
• Discount is only valid for the following sites: Audley End house & Gardens, 1066 Battle of Hastings Abbey & Battlefield, Bolsover Castle, Carlisle Castle, Clifford’s Tower, Dover Castle, Eltham Palace, Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden, Osborne, Pendennis Castle and Whitby Abbey
• Bus and train tickets will be checked at the point of purchase. If there is no proof of travel you will be asked to pay the ticket price in full and the discount will not be applied. Tickets should be valid for the day of your visit. For holiday & weekend away destinations e.g. Falmouth/Pendennis – a return ticket that sandwiches the date of the visit may also be accepted.
• For Eltham Palace, if travelling to site with TfL, all visitors must show proof of travel on TfL on the same date as the visit. This can be via the TfL Oyster and Contactless app or valid TfL paper ticket on arrival at Eltham Palace. The TfL Oyster and Contactless app must be downloaded and logged into in advance if this is to be used. All modes of TfL travel are included except Santander Cycles. For full T&Cs click here.
• Cyclists may be asked to show their bicycle and/or helmet at site.
• Walking is not included in the offer due to difficulties validating the legitimacy of claims.
• Discount is valid during normal site operational hours, including daytime events.
• Discount is not valid in association with any other offer and no cash alternative value will be offered.
• Discount is not valid for any evening events or concerts.
• Discount is not valid for group travel or for advance ticket purchases online.
• English Heritage has the right to remove this offer at any point in time.
