Stonehenge is open every day (Monday to Sunday) at the following times:
- 1 Jan - 27 Mar 2026, 9.30am to 5pm (last entry is at 3pm)
- 28 Mar - 6 Sep 2026, 9.30am to 6pm (last entry is at 4pm)
- 7 Sep 2026 - 16 Mar 2027, 9.30am to 5pm (last entry is at 3pm)
- 25 Dec 2026, closed
Please note, opening times may differ on the summer and winter solstices (the website will be updated to reflect these).

You may also purchase tickets on arrival at Stonehenge on the day.
Tickets are free for members. You can still book online if you’d like – just remember to bring your English Heritage membership card.
You can join as a member online or during your visit.
There is a £3 parking charge to non-members. We recommend downloading the Pay By Phone app in advance. English Heritage Members should display their membership sticker clearly in their car window. Associated Members (CSSC, NT England, CADW & Historic Scotland) also park free of charge but will need to display an exemption in their window which can be requested at admissions.
Last admission time is 2 hours before the advertised closing time. English Heritage and National Trust England members admitted free. Please note: All education group visits must be pre-booked.
About Gift Aid
The Gift Aid admission price includes a voluntary donation of 10%. Provided you have paid enough UK Income or Capital Gains Tax * (to cover all of your Gift Aid donations in this tax year), English Heritage is able to reclaim tax on the whole amount you have paid - that's 25p on every £1. This extra money enables us to undertake vital conservation and education projects and ensure that many of England's most important historic sites can continue to be enjoyed by future generations.
