Explore the Cottage
Discover Pendennis Castle
For five centuries Pendennis Castle has played its part, protecting the Cornish coastline from the perennial threat of cross channel invasion. Today, the Noonday gun serves as a reminder of the role of the castle during the Second World War with troops departing from Falmouth to play their part in the D-Day landings.
A walk in to the town will allow you to explore the rich maritime history, the harbour front with seafood sellers, craft shops, restaurants and bars. Alternatively enjoy one of the four sandy beaches or explore the wide variety of fauna and flora that strives in the Cornish climate.
