There is a small car park available at Eltham Palace. Parking charges apply to non-members and is free for members. Please use Sat Nav postcode SE9 5NP to direct you straight to the car park. There are Blue Badge holder parking spaces available.
Please note, our carpark can be busy on weekends and school holidays, we recommend travelling by public transport where possible.
Enjoy a tasty lunch or quick afternoon treat in the café in the visitor centre at Eltham Palace. With views out to the outdoor play area, you can relax over a refreshing drink and a delicious snack while the children let off steam.

19 acres of gardens feature both 20th century and medieval elements. These include a rock garden sloping down to the moat, a medieval bridge and a stunning herbaceous border. Garden highlights include spring bulbs and the wisteria cascading over the classical pergola in summer.
Due to temporary building improvement works, we regret to inform you that our accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities will be unavailable between the 22 March and 10 April. The toilets at the main entrance will be open as usual.

Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
