Tregiffian is a Neolithic or early Bronze Age chambered tomb with a walled and roofed entrance passage which leads into a central chamber.

Before You Go
How to Find It: The burial chamber is two miles southeast of St. Buryan on the B3315.
Parking: There is a small parking area for the Merry Maidens Stone Circle, a short distance away from the chamber. The chamber can be found by following the road to the south-west. Please take care walking along the grass verge.
Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome.

Plan a Great Day Out
Shops, toilets and a pub can be found in nearby St Buryan. The Merry Maidens (not within the care of English Heritage) is a late Neolithic stone circle located 100 metres from the parking area.
A short drive away is the ancient Iron Age village of Carn Euny, where you can see the foundations of stone houses dating from the 2nd to the 4th centuries AD. A few miles further north-west is Ballowall Barrow, a Bronze Age tomb in a spectacular cliff-edge position.
