Audley End House and Gardens will be fully closed on Friday 18, Monday 21, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September for filming. On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, the house will be closed, but the gardens and wider estate will remain open as usual. Tickets will be available at 30% off on these dates. There may be disruption until 29 September but our site team will advise you as to any changes to the usual visitor route. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding. Income generated through filming activities directly supports the conservation and care of our historic sites, helping to ensure they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Last admission to the grounds is 1 hour before the site closes, and last admission to the house is 1 hour and 30 minutes before the site closes.
You can book online until midnight the day before your visit to get the discount. You can still buy a ticket on the day of your visit online or when you arrive, but you’ll pay full price.
Tickets are valid all day, so you can arrive at any time and stay for as long as you like within our opening hours.
Tickets are free for members. You can still book online if you’d like – just remember to bring your English Heritage membership card.

The site will be closed on 18, 21, 22, 23 and 24 September. The House will be closed on 25–26 September, but the gardens and wider estate will remain open, with tickets 30% off.
