See full prices and opening timesAfter a busy day exploring the castle, relax and refuel in the tearoom with hot and cold drinks, cakes, toasted ciabattas, ice creams and children's lunch bags, along with alcoholic tipples and treats for your four-legged friends. From April to October we also serve homemade baguettes, and from November to March you can warm up with a bowl of soup.
The tearoom's log burner gives it a cosy cottage feel. If the weather’s fine, take a seat outside to soak up the views of the Shropshire Hills.
Discover a brand-new, thoughtfully designed playground inspired by the castle’s towers and gatehouse. Blending natural materials with inclusive, accessible features, it’s a space created for every child to explore, play and enjoy.
While the little ones play, you can relax nearby in our tearoom with a coffee and a slice of cake, all within easy view of the playground.
Curator of Collections and Interiors Cameron Moffett, and Senior Properties Curator Louise Bartlett, discuss a 13th century feast that took place at Stokesay Castle in Shropshire.
