A ruined abbey surrounded by grass and flowers

Picture it. A glass of tawny port as the Douro turns gold. A lunch by Lake Garda that somehow lasts all afternoon. A swim-stop in a quiet Croatian bay. The Rockies rolling by from your train window. An elephant holding up your early-morning game drive. Travelling solo? By the second night, you'll have a table full of new friends. With just 4,000 places available, the favourites may not wait until the offer ends on 30 November, so don’t miss yours.

Even better, every new booking made by 31 December 2026 helps protect the places we love. Riviera Travel will donate 5% of your booking value to English Heritage’s Your Places Appeal, supporting vital conservation across more than 300 free-to-enter historic sites for everyone to explore and enjoy.
