Free parking, with overflow on grass area. Note that the main access gate to the site is 9’6” high by 9’ wide. Please ask staff for help if your vehicle is bigger than this. Special events held at Audley End may have different parking information and prices. Please check the special event's website for details.
There are two cafés at Audley End. The Tearoom serves light lunches, snacks and hot and cold drinks. The Cart Yard café, next to the playground, is open on weekends and school holidays, and serves a selection of sandwiches and hot and cold drinks.
Our main shop offers a wide range of site souvenirs, inspiring gifts, unusual wines, meads, books, jewellery, jams, curds, chutneys, regionally made products, wonderful plants and garden ornaments.
Our Visitor Centre and English Heritage Brand Hub Shop showcases all our fabulous English Heritage branded products and also offers membership, tours sign up and general site information.
There are male and female toilets (and baby changing facilities) by the Tearoom by the Service Wing. The Cart Yard Café is open on weekends and school holidays. The new play area and additional toilets are also located within the Cart Yard area and are open all week.
Dogs on leads permitted in the grounds. Assistance dogs are welcome.
Display in the Stable Block about the landscaping and development of the estate. Includes interactive audio and visual system.
Fine formal Victorian gardens.. Walled organic kitchen garden. River Cam dammed to provide artificial lake. Extensive grassed areas. Kites welcome.

MULTI FAITH AND QUIET SPACE
We have a multi faith and quiet space available in the service wing, by the rear entrance to the historic kitchen.
This space is designated for individual prayer, quiet time and breastfeeding mothers.
Yes, please ask a member of staff at the cafe. We have a microwave in the tearoom.
Discover our brand new play area at the Cart Yard. Inspired by Audley End's rich history with a replica of the historic house, accessible sensory garden and assault course. The Cart Yard's café is open during weekends and school holidays.
Please look out for cars when walking between the ticket office, the front of the house and the car park.
Smoking, vaping, barbecues and naked flames are not permitted.

Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
