    Limited Pay and Display parking (64 metres away), suitable for cars only. Not managed by English Heritage. From Station Road, turn South onto Castle Street, signposted 'Historic Town Centre'. After approximately 200m, turn left onto North Street, signposted 'North Street for Historic Town Centre'. Easy route from main town car parks to site.

    Soft drinks are available from the ticket office.

    You are welcome to bring a picnic. There are a few picnic tables with benches in the Bailey, sheltered by mature trees.

    Small shop selling a selection of English Heritage gifts and cold drinks.

    There are no toilets on site. The nearest public facilities are in the Market Square (off Totnes High Street).
  • Dogs

    Dogs on lead allowed, assistance dogs are welcome.

    There is a dog bowl on-site and a dog waste bin in the garden outside the entrance to the castle.

    The inner bailey is laid to grass, and contains benches and picnic tables. Fantastic views over Totnes from the top of the Keep.

    Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
