SUITABLE FORChildren
Join Father Christmas at Bolsover Castle this December for a magical way to start the festive season.
Father Christmas is taking time out of his busy festive schedule to tell some of his favourite seasonal stories around the Christmas tree.
After the group storytelling session, you and your children will meet the man himself, with the chance to take photographs and make memories to treasure. Father Christmas will also give every child a traditional present to unwrap.
Children of all ages are welcome. Tickets for Father Christmas cost £9.50 per child in advance, for members and non-members, and can be added at the checkout. Non-members will also need to purchase a ticket for the castle itself.
There will be two sessions for neurodivergent and disabled people which will have a more low key, calm and relaxed atmosphere with a smaller capacity. These will be at 9.30am on Saturday 7th and Sunday 15th December.
Sessions take place at 10.20am, 11am, 11.40am, 12.20pm, 1.20pm, 2pm, 2.40pm and 3.20pm. As it's a busy time of year for him, Father Christmas needs to start on time, so please arrive at least 15 minutes before your slot.
Please note that 3.20pm is an accessible slot and will take place in the exhibition as the Little Castle does not have a lift. On 30 November the 3.20pm slot will be in the Little Castle.
Online ticket booking will close on the day at 8.45am. Walk-up tickets may be available at admissions.
