Locally sourced potatoes
Creating quality produce and working in a sustainable and responsible way are important to both English Heritage and Made for Drink, and that's why 100% of potatoes used in making these crisps are proudly grown in Yorkshire and hand cooked less than 10 miles away by Yorkshire crisps.
Picked and cooked on the same day, the potatoes are sliced thin, washed and hand cooked until crisp and golden. A beautiful English crisp cooked with care and by artisans.
Meet truffle dog, Jack
Aromatic and of the earth, our English Truffle seasoning uses English Truffles
picked by James, his truffle dog Jack and a handful of their friends from the English Truffle Company, across the Southern English countryside.
It's thought that dogs are more careful with the truffles, only scratching the ground to indicate their location. They are more gentle on the environment, disturbing less of the soil and dogs also have a much better sense of smell than humans, detecting truffles up to 500 millimetres underground.
