The car park has 20 spaces and is located 100 metres down the lane from the castle. There are also six disabled parking spaces.

Parking charges apply to non-members. Parking free for members.

Site serves tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Additional facilities available in Corbridge (2 miles away).

Picnics welcome - benches available in main area and in the orchard.

Shop selling select range of English Heritage gifts is within the ticket office.

Flat grassed areas located within the walls with some seating. There is plenty of space for children to run around. Ball games are permitted, but no kites please.
