Step inside the house to learn about life in Georgian times with the help of Henrietta’s mischievous dog, Fop! Head outdoors and grab a game from the gardeners' cart to play in the park. Check out the fun play area and then enjoy a picnic in the gardens. 

Family Trail

Explore the family trail at Marble Hill and learn all about the house and gardens. Henrietta Howard’s mischievous dog Fop and Daniel Crafts the gardener will be on hand to guide you along the trail with fun facts and activities. Dance in the Great Room of the house and discover the grotto in the gardens.

Explore the play area

Discover our fun play area, complete with its very own mini trampoline, climbing area and willow tunnel! Go on an adventure around the grounds and experience our extensive outdoor space as a family.

Get hands-on at Marble Hill

Step inside the historic home of Henrietta Howard to learn about her life at Marble Hill. Illustrations by Jill Calder bring the house to life with lots to see and explore. Take a seat at the card table and guess who has left a calling card for the lady of the house. Try on hats in Little Henrietta’s bedroom and imagine life in Georgian high society.

Places to play

Head over to the gardeners’ cart to try your hand at some Georgian games. Have a go at battledore and shuttlecock or nine-pin bowling. While you’re there, find out more about what was grown in the kitchen garden and look out for the ice house.

Snack time

After exploring Marble Hill head to our newly refurbished café to top up your energy. Enjoy a tasty treat or try one of our children’s snack packs!
Refuel with a hot drink, scrumptious cake, or a delectable sandwich and bowl of soup. Many of our ingredients are sourced from our very own kitchen garden.
