Is the event suitable for those with accessibility needs?
The event takes place inside Wrest Park Mansion House, on the ground floor, and goes into Wrest Park’s grounds. Some of the route may be on uneven terrain or involve steps, but the majority of the trail will be accessible to wheelchairs, and there will be ramps in place to allow access for wheelchairs. There are a number of wheelchairs and mobility scooters available to hire from our reception on: reception.wrestpark@english-heritage.org.uk
Accessible toilets and blue badge holder parking is available at Wrest Park.
Can I bring a pushchair/buggy into the house?
For the duration of the Narnia event only, we are allowing pushchairs and buggies into the mansion. Access to the mansion will be via a ramp from the terrace. We are expecting weekends to be very busy, we would recommend avoiding weekends where possible for a better experience, or arriving later in the day to avoid crowds.
Are dogs allowed to visit too?
Dogs are welcome into the grounds at Wrest Park, but are not able to enter the house. So we’d ask you to please leave them at home when attending our Father Christmas and Narnia events.

The café will be open during the event offering a range of hot drinks, food and cakes. There’s also the option to add a festive afternoon tea to your booking.

Yes! There’s an extra charge to visit Father Christmas, so you’ll need to add a ticket to see Father Christmas on the ‘enhance your visit’ page while booking.
