Come and enjoy a unique experience this summer with Tom Clark, a stone-carver with over 40 years' experience. Discover the centuries-old art of stone carving in the picturesque setting of Old Wardour Castle. With its captivating stonework features in the castle ruins and breathtaking landscapes, this is the perfect backdrop for a memorable day.

This is designed to be a structured, hands-on session where you will have the chance to make your own green-man face carving to decorate your home or garden. Tom will guide you through each stage of the process with practical demonstrations and guidance. Please note that this session will be a starting point for beginners - there’s no guarantee that the carving will be finished by the end of the workshop, but every effort will be made to end up with a finished result.

All tools and materials will be provided, as will a light lunch. This event is rated as moderate access as it requires working with hand tools and standing for long periods.
